Mondays at 8am: SLO-Flow Yoga is a low-intensity vinyasa-style yoga class. We work  at a slower pace, using intention and not momentum to achieve results. Yo-Lo Flow fuses fitness moves with yogic power for extra conditioning. It focuses on whole body strengthening (legs, core & upper body) while creating flexibility and practicing balance. It covers the essentials of physical fitness. All of this is powered by breath and designed to build stamina.

Fridays at 8am: *Functional Flow Yoga is a flow class designed to support the body’s natural mobility. It focuses on a combination of strength, suppleness, balance, and coordination. Class themes vary weekly from full body to specific areas of our anatomy. Breathwork is also an integral part of this class.

Location: Studioworks Yoga at Powerhouse Gym

Sundays at 8am: Athletic Yoga (Functional Flow) Every week focuses on different muscle groups, repetitive stress patterns and/or the exploration of specific themes. It will combine various yoga styles to achieve our goal.  This class will focus on proper form and alignment. We will hold poses (asanas) for a longer period of time, allowing our body to work deeper. It will emphasize safe transitions with the use of props and modifications are given to work with you at your level.  This class combines beginner and intermediate poses.

Wednesdays at 6:30pm: Vigorous Vinyasa Flow is a vigorous vinyasa-styled yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. We will work with the sama vritti (equal part) breath, to create a flow that works within the six planes of motion.  This class is designed to strengthen, create flexibility and develop balance. Modifications are given to work at your level.

*Alternating Wednesdays at 5:30pm : Urban Fusion is a cardio-based dance class. Urban Fusion combines rockin’ urban-inspired songs from a mix of music genres. It combines songs from popular Latino artists as well as Reggae, Hip Hop, and Pop music. It starts with a 5/10 minute dance-style warm-up then ratchets up a level or two!…with more energetic, sweat-producing songs, and ends with 5/10 minute cool down. Only the best tunes make it on our playlist!

This is a fast-paced, energetic class with an emphasis on dance and aerobic moves to keep the heart pumping.  It is designed to be fun-loving, in a non-judgmental environment, so leave your inhibitions at the door!  Come experience the joy of dance, work at your level and have fun. And remember…”there are no mistakes, only unexpected solos!”  All levels welcome.

Tuesdays at 9:15am: Gentle Yoga is a slow-moving, deep breathing, meditative flow. It’s designed to stretch and bring movement in a therapeutic, supportive manner.  

Thursdays at 10:30am: Stretches for Self Care: You will learn how to perform muscular stretches and breathing exercises, in order to achieve and maintain full body flexibility. The class is designed to practice stretching in a therapeutic, supportive manner.
